Violet is a multiple Best of Breed and Best of Breed Owner-Handled winner with Owner-Handled Group placements. She earned her first AKC championship points at seven months of age with a Best of Breed win over specials, followed by an Owner-Handled Group Third placement. She completed her AKC Championship at just over a year old, finishing with a Best of Winners and Best of Breed Owner-Handled win at the National Dog Show in Oaks, Pennsylvania.

Violet went on to complete her Grand Championship in Canfield, Ohio, earning Best of Opposite Sex and Best of Breed Owner-Handled over a deep specials entry that included several nationally competitive Border Collies. These wins reflected both her consistency and her ability to hold her own against established top dogs.

Structurally, Violet is a balanced, moderate bitch with efficient, ground-covering movement and a steady outline. She presents with clarity and purpose in the ring and maintains consistency across venues and conditions.

Violet’s temperament is one of her defining strengths. She is calm, socially appropriate with other intact dogs, comfortable around livestock and children, and possesses natural herding instinct. She has an excellent off-switch and works with focus and willingness. While not strongly toy motivated, she responds readily to praise and food rewards and shows a clear desire to engage with her handler.

Within the StarLux program, Violet serves as a foundational female. She brings steadiness, trainability, and adaptability, and she has proven herself both in competition and in daily life. Violet is the dam of Kirby and Talia.
